A Chrome extension · works inside Excalidraw

Your Excalidraw, supercharged.

Save and organize every diagram. Present frames as slides. Generate entire scenes from a sentence. All from a sidebar that lives inside the canvas — no tab-switching, no workflow break.

Features

Everything the canvas was missing.

Excalidraw is brilliant at freeform drawing. Excalihub adds the structure around it — persistence, presentation, and generation — without ever pulling you out of the flow.

Save & organize

Snap a scene to your library, rename it, nest it in folders, and import or export .excalidraw files. Bulk-download your whole library as a zip.

Presentation mode

Turn frames into slides. Navigate with arrow keys, go fullscreen, toggle theme, and export any slide — all without leaving the editor.

AI generation

Describe a diagram in plain text and get a full scene — shapes, arrows, labels — rendered directly onto the canvas. Or let AI extend what you've already drawn.

Share

Generate a shareable Excalidraw link from the file menu. One click, no copy-paste, no manual upload.

Dark mode

Automatically matches Excalidraw's theme. Your library looks right whether you sketch at noon or at 2 a.m.

BYOK, your infra

Bring your own Cerebras or Anthropic key. It's stored locally in your browser — never on our servers, because we don't have any.

How it works

Three steps. Zero context-switching.

  1. 01

    Install the extension

Add Excalihub from the Chrome Web Store. It injects a slim sidebar into excalidraw.com — no reload needed.

  2. 02

    Open the sidebar

Click the Excalihub icon in the toolbar. Your library slides in beside the canvas. Save the current scene, browse folders, or open a saved drawing.

  3. 03

    Draw, present, or generate

Hit the prompt box to AI-generate a diagram, or select frames and enter presentation mode. Everything stays inside the canvas.

Privacy is the product.

Excalihub stores your drawings locally in your browser. No account, no telemetry, no server. The only network request is the one you trigger when you click "Generate" — and that goes straight to the API using your own key.
